Hello, happy Friday! Wow, this week has been CRAZY. It feels like Santa’s workshop over here and it’s been nuts. Between being sick for 2 long weeks and still recovering (bronchitis) I have to say this last week I have still been dragging. Doing my best to pace myself and give myself time to rest but duty calls and this is our busiest time of year. It has been mayhem, a fun kind of course but it requires all hands on deck. Today our big gift wrap shipment arrives so it will be fast and furious.
Also getting part of our ornaments and the rest arrive Nov. 29th so for anyone waiting on gift wrap you can expect to get an email with tracking in the next 2-3 days and for ornaments within about a week or so. I have not had a chance to do anything else….literally. I missed out on some good things while I was sick, a great friends birthday at a 2 day spa celebration and another was speaking to a women group in NYC which was a big disappointment but not much one can do. It is onward to feeling better and getting through the holiday rush!
This random musings post focuses mostly on either home or biz, I didn’t get out much the last 2 weeks due to illness and you can bet I have lots of ground to cover:) Here we go with recent happenings…….

SO very excited about these new jars coming in!!! They will be offered in pale blue, pale pink and pale green. I love this take on ginger jars, next presale in about 6 weeks!
When real meets faux- my faux magnolia which I must say are extremely lifelike mixed in with beautiful real magnolia from Weston Farms
Did a little photo shoot with the red and green Staffordshire dog ornaments and our amazing little swizzle sticks!

Loved opening the beautiful magazine put out by Montage Palmetto Bluff and seeing my happy place, our home there in an ad from our architect!
I love my room but way too many days were spent here in the last two weeks. I never watched so. much TV in my life!
A friend sent a huge box of the most amazing tomatoes from California, so I made a heavenly tomato and Gruyere tart, it was the best kind of comfort food:) Recipe to be shared in next Entertaining Diaries post.

Had to share this….think my blue and white love has rubbed off on my youngest son who just got his own apartment. He and his friends get together to play poker and would you look at his back up seating…..one of my blue/white garden seats:) Makes me happy!

I go to sleep at night dreaming of boxes, words cannot describe how nutty it’s been we have been averaging about 3 palettes of orders a day! We are very busy little elves this time of year:)
Got in a huge batch of monogram napkin orders, every time I see a new combination, I want them!
A few new products on the horizon, will be doing these fabulous new baskets above perfect for coffee tables and spring entertaining and this Venetian tri fold mirror. I looked everywhere for one and could not find them so I created them! Coming in January!
What a thrill to see the incredible fabrics from the exclusive designs I am doing with Giddy Paperie come to life!! The holiday robes and aprons will be here next week, woo hoo.
And this is our beautiful blue/white spring print which will be available in the cutest robe and apron

And there you have my musings from the last few weeks or so. As you can see I not get out much at all….but thankfully was able to do a lot of work from home. Back in the saddle now and pushing up my shirt sleeves up to gear up for a marathon like day! The Thanksgiving break will be so very welcome…. I just want to sit, eat good food and not move a muscle for a few days:)

All of your lifelike flower arrangements are second to none. I am still loving my exquisite hydrangeas which I purchased from you over a year ago. Needless to say, you have exquisite taste in all things beautiful, Tina.
Sorry you’ve been ill. Tina. Bronchitis hangs on so long that it becomes debilitating. I hope you can get all the physical help you need, and can rest a lot between little jobs. In other words: pace yourself. “By the clock” if you have too!
Love the monogramed linen napkins. They are just what I need to add that unexpected pop of WOW to my Christmas table. Sorry you have been sick. I too have had a bad cold and cough which seems to hang on for months. Must remember to pace ourselves or we will be right back in our sick beds.

Bellissima! I know you’ve been ill and I’m so sorry. Tina, I’ve long admired your attitude and energy. Soon it will be Christmas Day and we will all have crossed the finish line. I have lupus and we moved, so it’s money for the kiddos this year, toys for my first grandchild and if my tree looks half a good as yours, I’ll be pleased.
