Hi friends, hope you are well as we step into the busiest season of the year. I am trying my best to keep up with working, decorating, and charging ahead into the holiday season. This time of year I vacillate between finding joy and magic of this wonderful time of year and at the same time not being able to ignore the huge hole in my heart at not being able to share it with my dear mother. They say the “firsts” of everything are so hard, I would argue that the seconds are right up there. I don’t know that it ever gets “easy”, maybe easier. But I am making the best of it, as. I know that’s what she would want me to do.

Hope this finds everyone getting into the spirit and starting to deck their own halls, don’t know about you, but it seems like everyone is starting much earlier this year! Maybe because we are all so desperate to find pockets of joy and magic where we can find them, given the darkness and sadness of our world at large. OK, onto happier things, my Seven on Sunday of this week…..

1 CHRISTMAS AROUND HERE SO FAR Starting to feel that holiday spirit slowly but surely. Once you start decorating, it becomes a bit infectious and I found that to be the case 2 days ago when I began.  With so much sadness around the world which undoubtedly  weighs heavily upon us, it is a bit more challenging this year.

It’s hard to compare a tough day for me, being that I lost a bunch of Christmas ornaments  (small tree came crashing down) to people losing entire generations of families. Every day in life is precious and we must embrace and enjoy every moment that we are given, it is a gift for sure. Will be continuing to share my holiday decor as it comes together, next up is my Christmas tree!

2 A FUN HOUSE TOUR If you are looking for holiday inspiration, look no further then this video from Homeworthy featuring not one but SIX holiday homes!! I am officially inspired:)

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST This is the time of year when its HARD to narrow down the Instagrams to feature, so many beauties out there!!

4 COMING SOON! So many exciting things happening, and believe it or not just started working on our new Easter egg and bunny collection for spring!

Our green cabbage plates arrive tomorrow!! So excited and will be taking home a big box to set up a holiday table, also all preorders will start shipping out tomorrow! Click here to order yours

The pink cabbage plates are in production and should be available sometime later Jan!

So many have asked about the beautiful white fretwork pedestals we introduced last year. We had a manufacturing issue with one batch so changed manufacturers, happy to say we are getting them in again in about 5-6 weeks. These, for good reason, sold out almost immediately, they are really spectacular. We are now taking presale orders on these, they are due in sometime around Jan 16-20th. Click here

Cannot wait to get these two wicker lattice planters (will be part of a [presale in a few weeks)

And how about these fabulous new lattice cut waterpower baskets and tissues! I have a space for each and every one:)

5 A PERFECT HOLIDAY DRINK I went to a friends house who always has a small girlfriends get together every Dec 1st. She made these cocktails and this was SO good!! It is very easy and you can also make it in a punch bowl and double to triple the recipe. As pretty as it is delicious, just in case you are looking for a yummy holiday cocktail!

Ingredients for the Merry Cocktail-

Produce
  • • 1 Limes and frozen cranberries
Drinks
  • • 2 cups Cranberry juice
  • • 2 cups Pineapple juice, orange
Beer, Wine & Liquor
  • • 2 bottles Champagne

Mix all together add juice of lime to taste and garnish with cranberries and a slice of lime

6 THE PRETTIEST GINGERBREAD HOUSES I nearly fell off my chair seeing these. What incredible works of art! When our renovation is done eventually I would love to order one for a future holiday season. The artistry is unbelievable! Click here for more info

7 SUNDAY’S SEVEN So, I am thinking of phasing out of my Seven on Sunday. I no longer have anaylyics to see how it tracks in comparison to my other posts but if I am judging  by numbers of comments alone, I am thinking perhaps the Sunday reading is not what it used to be. So I am curious if you read my Seven on Sunday regularly, sporadically or otherwise. Your take is always appreciated and valuable!

I personally think Seven on Sunday is the BEST one of the week! That’s the one I look forward to the most!

PLEASE DON’T STOP THE 7 ON SUNDAY !!
I love reading it and seeing the pictures. It’s a very happy part of my Sunday morning ritual!

Your Seven On Sunday posts are my favorite part of your blog! Pls do not stop posting them! I especially love the instagram posts and your movie suggestions and products from other vendors other than what you have on your website. You tend to have things I have not seen elsewhere, so I never miss your Seven On S

I absolutely love reading your Seven on Sunday! I look forward to it every week. It offers such a nice variety of topics. I would really miss it and hope you’re able to continue doing it. The effort you put in it is very much appreciated! Thank you!

I read most of your other types of posts during the week, but what I like on Sunday are the house videos and movie trailers you link to, most of which I would never otherwise get to see.

Always look forward to Seven on Sunday with a cup a coffee! Enjoy all your posts, but this is a favorite. Thank you for always sharing some beauty in a world where it can be hard to find.

Please do not stop posting Seven on Sunday! I look forward to reading it every Sunday morning!

I so love your Seven on Sundays…please, please continue!
You are such an inspiration and so talented…
Thank you for all that you share!

Would hate to see Sundays Seven go! Look forward to it every week. Loving the house tours. Thanks, Tina.

Absolutely the highlight of my Sunday mail is your Seven on Sunday post! Please reconsider discontinuing.
On another note, I sent you a note on Instagram pertaining to correct attribution to one of todays gorgeous photos.

Dear Tina, I love reading your Seven on Sunday!! It’s my Sunday morning ritual. Please don’t stop! You always have interesting posts. You have enlightened us on many topics. Know you are loved and appreciated!

Seven on Sunday is my favorite! I so look forward to it! First thing I do when I get up, after my cup of tea, is look for the Seven on Sunday post.

I normally do not commit. I guess that is why you think we don’t care about your Sunday post. Especially, if others are doing the same and not posting. WE DO LOVE IT!!! Please don’t stop with this Sunday regular from you. I love to read what you have to say and the pictures are so fabulous. It’s like a Sunday magazine to me. You do a lot for your customers/subscribers so maybe you can cut somewhere else. Merry Christmas & a Blessed 2024!

Look forward to 7 on Sunday. Most would be sad to have you discontinue the best blog of the week.

Sundays wouldn’t be the same without your posts. Please know how much they are appreciated.

Hi Tina,
I truly enjoy your Seven On Sunday! I love the Home Tour segment, the Instagrams Of Interest (because I find new accounts to follow), the occasional recipes (this Christmas cocktail looks yummy and I will likely make it soon for a gathering) and anytime you share about your home improvement/building/renovating and PB! Your line of home goods is beautiful and I appreciate all of your stylings!
I may not always comment, but I am always reading, learning and appreciating!

Sending hugs and encouragement to you!
Merry Christmas from the Deep South ❤️
Michele

I particularly enjoy the home tours on Sunday. I enjoy. The variety you include. My favorite.

Please continue your Sunday on seven – I look forward to it immensely
My husband even reads
My only peaceful quiet moments take place while I read and enjoy your sundays on seven !

Look forward to your Sunday post each week. I think it is a way to keep in touch with your followers/customers/fans. You need to keep it going.

Please don’t stop Seven on Sunday. That’s how I keep up with you and all that’s going on with your shop.

I don’t think I could live without seven on Sunday! It’s how I first found you several years ago. I don’t do social media so you give me wonderful glimpses of things from instagram. I just sent a photo of your drink recipe from today to two friends. I share your great recipes with friends and my family LOVES everything I make using your delicious recipes.
Love hearing about your projects, love seeing your homes and the fabulous decorating. I know this post is a lot of work for you,
but it would put a void in my life if you ceased the Sunday post. Selfish of me I know!
I will comment every week if you continue!!
Have a lovely holiday!! Thank you for all you do to make our lives more beautiful.

Never miss Seven on Sunday. It is a less commercial and more personal than other days. Also love updates on Palmetto Bluffs and your entertaining blogs. Thank you for sharing your elegant taste.

This is the only Enchanted Home post I read every week! I look forward to getting my coffee Sunday morning and cozying up on the couch for all the goodies that lie ahead! Forgo some others but please, not this one!

Seven on Sunday is the first thing I read on Sunday Mornings, I love it, hope you don’t stop, but if you do we well all understand, it’s a lot of work in your very busy schedule. So, if this is our last Seven on Sunday, just want you to know how much it is loved and appreciated, thank you!

Hi,
That holiday cocktail looks and sounds delicious but I’m confused about the pine -apple/orange add-in. Is is an either/or?
Thank you. Love your posts

I look forward to your Sunday post! It’s the best of your blog ! Please don’t discontinue.

I always look forward to your Sunday posts and read them every week! I hope you will continue them. Merry Christmas!!!

Seven on Sunday is my absolute favorite, I look forward to it every Sunday morning! Your thoughts, pictures, and videos are such an inspiration to me. I am not one to comment but I also never miss reading your blog. I hope they will continue.
Wishing you and your family all the blessings of this Christmas season.

Your Seven On Sunday is my “Me Time” on Sunday’s. I so look forward to the home tours, Instagrams of Interest, and your impeccable style. Your blog gives me inspiration for my home I truly enjoy my purchases. Your items are one of a kind!! Have a Merry & Blessed Christmas!!!

Please keep your Sunday message! I don’t usually troll the internet so I love your pictures and the house tours.

Please do NOT stop posting Seven on Sundays. I appreciate the extra work it is for you, but, it’s so very much part of my Sunday routine to quietly sit with my cup of coffee and read your post. For me, it’s like connecting with a dear friend that doesn’t mind if I don’t respond. I miss your dad’s Saturdays with Dad posts. They were so informative and fun to read. I miss it.

Dearest Tina,
I am a faithful reader of Seven on Sunday. I always look forward to seeing it posted and when it’s running late or other…..I am disappointed. I rarely comment because I love to read other’s comments and hear their joy and delight. I was extremely disappointed when you announced your discontinuation of selling silver as I had wanted to purchase more. But I can see your plate is very full.

I think of Seven on Sunday as your little newsletter and keeping us all up to date on your “happenings”, coming products, videos, and articles that otherwise I wouldn’t know about. I make time each week to learn something new from you.
I think you have more fans who cheer you on than you realize. With much gratitude and love.

If not for your Seven on Sunday, and news about your new home, I think your vlog becomes nothing more than all advertisements, all the time. I would not follow you at all. No offense intended, but you
asked.

Please don’t discontinue seven on Sunday…. I live in Australia and it arrives for my Monday morning breakfast read… I know it must be extra work for you but I always enjoy it!

Seven on Sunday is the best, even if I don’t get to read it until Monday! Also question the punch recipe, pineapple, and orange juice?

I look forward to Seven on Sunday. I usually make a cup of coffee and settle in to read all that you share with us. I will truly miss it if you decide to let it go.

Seven on Sunday is your only email of the week that I do read regularly and I enjoy it quite a lot.

Please do not stop the seven on Sunday ! My wife and I enjoy reading it – with all the discouraging events going on in the world – it’s a bright spot in our day !

Dearest Tina
Hello and a happy Sunday to you from England. I hope you are having some relaxing time and enjoying your holiday decorating My Christmas tree is also the next thing to do. It will as always, be inspired by all the festive beauty you share with us.
As one of your loyal readers and greatest supporters, I am so sorry I rarely leave a comment but can say that I have never missed a post in over 10 years. I am so proud of all your achievements and absolutely love everything you do. You have made me a better interior designer and because we share so much love for the same beauty and aesthetic, your inspiration is invaluable to me in so many ways
Thank you with all my heart Tina, none of us tell you often enough, but we all love you.
If you decide to have a change from Seven on Sunday, I will quite understand and of course will always be following along. Im always looking forward to what comes next, especially the progress of your house building. And you have a new follower who loves your blog too, my mother Bridget who has really beautiful, elegant taste.
So pour yourself a Christmas cocktail dear Tina and have a ‘cheers’ to you
With love from us all
Sally xx

A beautiful post! I completely hear your heart regarding your Mom and how it’s not really the “firsts”, although it’s tough for sure, I’ve found each year has its own moments that catch us off guard. I’ve lost my Mother, Daddy and my sister (on Christmas night) in the month of December, which still has memories in waves that come washing over me. May blessings of peace & comfort be near you🙏🫶🙏

I can’t live without Seven on Sunday! I so look forward to it every weekend.. I always take time out on Sunday, put aside some “me” time to read it…I don’t know what I would do without it! It gives the week and home life real perspective. And you have exquisite taste! And fabulous ideas…And wonderful and varied things to share. Plus you bare your feelings about the world and your personal hills and valleys. All the while trying to bring beauty and joy into your world–AND OURS!!! It would make me so sad not to view/read Seven on Sunday each week. And Sunday is the PERFECT day to do that. One week ends, another begins…with TINA’S WORLD on Sunday. THANK YOU for bringing such JOY into our lives!! I’m such a fan!! xoxo

Tina ~ As a long time follower/subscriber, I have to tell you ~ Seven on Sunday is my very favorite post always. Sometimes the week is hectic and I will graze over the post or save it to come back and take time to read it and view the promotional items from the shoppe. But Sunday is a treat ~ It’s something I genuinely look forward to and I always make special time to be able to really take my time and absorb and enjoy it. Having lost so many loved ones lately, as well as complex family situations, health concerns and the like ~ I recognize that your most recent loss has made blogging sometimes harder and sometimes a comforting respite. All of your readers appreciate your time and energy investment even when we don’t post comments ~ We also mourn alongside you in spirit when there’s really no form of comfort good enough to offer. That said ~ I probably speak for many when I say that I would understand if it’s gotten to be too much for you but the Seven on Sunday segment would be truly missed. It is such a delight ~ and for many reasons. I hope it stays forever. Wishing you lots of peace and blessings. So many of us feel like we know you personally ~ Big Hugs, TJF

Tina, Please don’t discontinue your blog! I look forward to it like a good friend! You have no idea how much good it does me and others as well. There is no other one like it. We look forward to it and would miss it very much!! Many of us have suffered many losses in recent years. Please don’t make this one more loss! It is such a great contribution of yours to our life in so many ways. There is so little in the media today that is uplifting, inspirational, personal and beautiful. Your blog is unique! It is a real contribution to life. Please continue with it. .

Please don’t stop
Seven on Sundays. It truly makes my day.
Please let us know after all the comments and votes are in what you decide.

For some unknown reason, I stopped getting Seven on Sunday in my inbox. I thought you had stopped doing it! I’ve missed it so much as I read it every Sunday! Today I was looking on your site to buy something and noticed a Seven on Sunday from 12/3!!! I was shocked and then noticed you have been doing them all along. I wonder if this has happened to other people?? Please keep doing it!

No No No!!!
Please do not stop doing Seven On Sunday. I look forward to your post every Sunday! I never miss it. I love how candid you are about real things that happen in life to all of us and your humanity for others. The links you provide are amazing and are about people or things I would not normally be aware of. Recipes, documentaries, and human interest stories are wonderful. I don’t usually comment on social media, as there is so much and can be time consuming and exhausting. I’m wondering if your lack of comments, compared to a few years ago is due to a software issue. From the amount of comments today, this is a treasured weekly post!

Love Seven on Sunday and starting my morning reading your post. Love all the pictures you post and they are always uplifting. Thanks for sharing and I hope will continue to post.
