I love the #25 tall vase. I would love to see it on the end of my fireplace, full of pussy willow.

Hope this finds you well as we lead up to the holiday week. Always a little tricky when July 4th falls on a weekday, and once it comes and goes, I feel like summer is going by way too fast! I will be in Palmetto Bluff for the holiday. Can’t think of a prettier or more charming place to be during a holiday week. The real icing on the cake is that my niece will be coming with her family!!

After nearly 5 months in the hospital she is going on her first little getaway and we cannot wait to celebrate this momentous occasion with her.Lots of fun things to share this Sunday, hope you enjoy……

1 A FAVORITE NEW COCKTAIL So made this last Sunday for my husbands birthday dinner and it was a definite hit! The elderflower really adds such a delightful flavor and topped off with a generous splash of fresh lemon, this is G O O D! Plus pretty, so extra brownie points for looks:) This drink was a big hit and it’s officially my new summer fave.

Rosé Lemonade Elderflower Sangria

This Rosé Lemonade Elderflower Sangria is the most refreshing summer cocktail! It’s super easy to make, only 5 ingredients, and is easily multiplied to serve a crowd! All you need is dry rosé, freshly squeezed lemon juice, a touch of simple syrup for sweetness, elderflower liquer, and a splash of seltzer. Absolutely delicious and dangerously good! Found at Spices in my DNA, where I have found some other fantastic recipes, click here.

  • 5 ounces rosé*
  • 1 ounce elderflower liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup*
  • splash of seltzer water
  • sliced strawberries
  • lemon slices
  • fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass with crushed ice. Add a lemon slice and a few strawberry slices. I like to push them down a little bit too. Add the rosé, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup and stir to combine. Add a splash of seltzer water and stir again. Top with more sliced strawberries and a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy!

2 INSPIRING STORY OF THE WEEK This is a beautiful story and I love finding stories that touch my heart (quite literally) enough to share with you every Sunday. After going through the world of organ donation with my niece, my eyes were opened in a very different way. There is no way in the world I wouldn’t donate my body/organs to save a life or lives. I think it is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our fellow man, women and child. I continue to be inspired by these kinds of stories…………..

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Always so many beautiful pictures to share from Instagram, never ever disappoints. It’s the gift that keeps on giving:)

3 NEW PRODUCTS HEADING THIS WAY! I am sooooo excited over a bunch of things heading this way! Almost all of these will be here within 3 weeks and they will soon  all be available to preorder which will guarantee you your order. You are part of my inner circle in that you get to see everything first! This is by far my favorite part of what I do, getting to dream things up and creating them:)

Getting in the most exquisite new tole pieces in about 2-3 weeks, these are spectacular if you ask me,  Love the new metal styles- fretwork, Greek key and leaf. SO  over the moon about these! These are now available for preorder, click here

Madly in love with two new styles of the hurricanes, coming in both the small and large. I have to say the etched hurricanes is one of my proudest achievements, as you might know by now. We are working on adding some matching bowls as well.  I LOVE them, they add such elegance to any table and every time  I see a table with plain glass hurricanes, I cannot help but think they have no idea what they are missing:)

Got my samples of the above and the new Greek key in the smaller size and gave them a test run- they passed with flying colors!

The best selling pagodas are coming in, in 2 sizes and several new colorways, here is a sampling-

I could see doing a party around this color them above……would be so pretty!

How about these super stylish pagoda lamp finials, will be offered in ivory, black, silver and gold-

And lastly aren’t these elegant pagoda salt and peppers fabulous! They will be in silver and antique gold. I had to immediately give them a “trial run” on a table:)

And just got my sample back for this fabulous new planter that I have been working on for a number of months ! I am just loving it….in production so stay tuned:)

5 ALEXA PULITZER I had beautiful stationery made a few years ago from Alexa. She takes letter writing and invitations to a whole new level. Her line is exquisite and very beautiful. I get so many compliments every time I send a thank you note. This is a sampling of her pretty personal stationery, her wedding and invitation line is out of this world too. Click here to learn more about her eponymous line.

6 YOU CAN NOW BUY JACKIE O’S HOUSE! That’s right this iconic property is now fro sale on idyllic Martha’s Vineyard for a cool 65 million. If you buy it, can I be your first houseguest? Click here for the details and to see the interiors.

7  SUNDAYS SURVEY This is easy peasy this weekend. I am considering adding these wicker/silver tall salt and peppers, (6″ tall). I had the samples made and would love your opinion, you are the best focus group! I normally feel very certain about what I put into production but on these I am on the fence…so your input is very welcome!

These are two very bad pictures but you can see its a wicker/silver 6″ salt and pepper set. Thoughts? Yay or nay?

Love your wicker salt shaker but not a fan of the black wicker in the pepper shaker. That’s just me personally but I do think natural wicker is a winner with some other way to distinguish the two. Love your Seven on Sunday.

This is definitely one of the best Sunday post -so much love ! Definitely going to try that cocktail we have a big party next Sunday and I’m going to see if we can incorporate that cocktail it sounds so good .

Thankful that your niece will be with you during the holiday and praying for her full recovery.

Good evening Tina,

I love your Sunday link posts. I always discover a few Instagram pages I do not know about and love exploring them. I cannot wait to try your drink, it looks delicious.

Have a great weekend.

Glad your niece is doing well. My daughter in law spent 5 months in the hospital while pregnant. When my granddaughter was 8 months my son gave her one of his kidneys. She needed to go on a list and he said why not have me tested. They were a match and she was adopted from Korea. That was 11 yrs ago. Miracles do happen.

You are right! Everything is swoon-worthy!!! I am so lucky to have my mother’s lovely Pagoda sterling salt and pepper shakers from when she lived in Toyko. They are magical and seeing yours makes me so happy I was given them to enjoy!
I love your Tole planters and trash containers. I’d love to see the trash bins with the same little ‘feet’ as the planters. All in all- wonderful new products! How fun! Great Eye!
