Hello, haven’t done one of these in quite a while so thought it was due time. Plus in the meantime, I have tried some new products and come to a final verdict on a few others which I like to share. Plus I love hearing from you and what you can’t live without!

I was so flattered that many emailed me and asked me about my personal routine (thank you)! You asked about both my skincare and my favorite make up go to’s so I am focusing a bit on that and including a few new additions to my treasure chest of beauty must haves.

I am still learning and when I have the chance I love reading over articles about skincare tutorials on You Tube ( a true endless vault of information and knowledge). So without further ado, here are some of my faves and a few new “sure things”.

I did try something recently, interesting that two people who have gorgeous skin recommended so I was given a small supply to try (a few days worth). This is also apparently a big hit with celebrities. I really liked this a lot, and my dry skin did too.

It’s a lot less than La Prairie, its called Cold Fusion cream by. Carasoin and is made in Los Angeles. There are no synthetics and it’s worth clicking over just to read how they make this. I think they have gotten a good deal of press as its saying there is a 2 week lead time.  I ordered it and now I await my jar! Click here to visit their website

Think I wrote about this already but have to say this concealer is fantastic and best thing is the price. I like the sponge tip applicator, goes on so easily but really does the trick. I seriously do not know where I got this- but here is their website (even I did a double take seeing it was $3.00, are my eyes playing tricks on me)? See, I told you I am full of good information lol

For everyday cleaning my face I have to admit I am kind of addicted to these Oil of Olay face wipes, they are soooo easy and convenient! Found in any drugstore, love these!

Talk about high and low……my favorite moisturizer and serum is hands down La Prairie, it is expensive but works so well for my skin. It really keeps it super nourished and feeling soft and supple. I have come to really like and use a serum religiously. I now understand the virtues of using a serum to lock the moisture in, by far the most expensive things on this post but for me, they just do the trick! Click here for caviar cream

Have used this lip color, Angel  for at least 10 years, when I buy it, I but 3 or 4 tubes. MAC can never discontinue this….its is a perfect color to me! Click here

When I wear eye shadow I only use one and it is from Bobbi Brown. Goes on easily and lasts (key)! I favor browns and neutrals, a few I have and have bought for years are below. Click here

Do you exfoliate? I have to admit I typically do not, though I did when I was younger. But most experts agree, you must get slough off the dead skin regularly to reveal bright healthy skin.

A friend of mine swears by this so I bought it last week, only used it once but I love the way it made my skin feel and because it penetrates deeper than a typical scrub, I feel like my skin looked really refreshed and really clear. She said I can use it twice a week so I will start using it more regularly. It gets consistently super high marks and rave reviews. Also priced well! Click here

I have said this for years but this blush/bronzer has a fan in me for life. I don’t know if they put Teflon in this or what, but this lasts FOREVER. It gives just the right amount of color/bronzing to look healthy and alive. I won’t even consider another, been using this for years. Color is called Hotel Heiress and this product has fan in me for life:) Click here

Spoke about this mascara about a month ago and must say I really like it. I bought it as an alternative to the Thrive mascara which is also very good but you can’t find it anywhere and its a lot harder to take off.

The L’Oreal version is a third of the price and honestly, at least 90% as good. I am enjoying it, can be bought in any drugstore.

Love a little shine, nothing as pretty (to me) as dewy, glowing skin and thanks for the plethora of highlighter out there, anyone can have it. I have tried my share and a few of my tried and true faves are below. As one gets older, a little subtle shine is a good thing:)

I like this powder from Mac, all you need is a touch on the cheekbones and a little goes a long way. I got the color called soft and gentle, click here

This one is new to me, but I am really liking it, a little goes a long way and it has staying power- you can use this anywhere Click here

Lots of hype around this. When I was in Nordstrom last week they were sold out of it, so i ordered it. Have not gotten it yet, but there is so much buzz over this. Anyone try it? I will be sure to let you know as soon as I get it! Click here

For shampoo and conditioner I switch things up every now and then but when I find one I love then I typically will stay true to it at least for a while. I love the Moroccan oil line from Suave. Not only does it leave my hair shiny, feeling very soft and smelling so good it is so reasonable. This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner right now and best part is that it can be found in any drug store or Amazon. Good stuff!

These make up cubes by Calpak are fantastic! I bought them last year, they are so great for travel and of course for every day use. Offered in 7 or 8 different styles reasonable as well. Going to order a few sets as Christmas gifts, everyone loves these and finds a use for them.  Click here

Hi Tina,

Just wanted you to know that based on your recent post I ordered two of the mock turtleneck, 3/4 sleeve sweaters from Nordstrom. They just arrived. Perfect fall sweater–so soft and comfy and flattering cut! Thank you for the great recommendation!

It was so sweet of you to share your skin care and makeup tips. When I first saw your picture a while back, I didn’t realize it was you. You look so young! Obviously what ever you are doing works beautifully.

You have the best tips- I have found so many good skincare and make up ideas through you, thank you

Last time you featured Thrive mascara, I bought it and love it. Curious to see how well L’Oreal works. Typically by the end of the day the mascara flakes and ends up below my eyes but have been so happy because Thrive doesn’t do that. thanks for all the product suggestions. One of these days I’ll break the bank and buy La Prairie!!

My favorites: 1) Neutrogena’s makeup remover wipes, gentle foaming face wash and Hydro Boost City Shield Eye Serum; 2) Prescriptives Line Preventor Serum; 3) Clinique High Impact Mascara (one coat is all you need for long lush lashes); 4) Laura Geller’s Balance and Brighten foundation (goes on flawlessly and gives a lovely glow); 5) Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo concealer (covers everything flawlessly and with no creasing). I agree with you about Bobbi Brown eye shadows. They are the best. I love your makeup and skincare posts!

Thank u for all the hard work u put in all your post, we all enjoy them so much, a fan

Thank you for Posting all of this terrific information. I had asked if you would—I love the dewy, glowing look that you have in your pics. I’m thrilled. Thank you.

I did try the mascara by “Loreal.” Love it & it come off much easier than the other. Great tips!

Good post! I Use the Caudulie product and love it. I get a lot of compliments from people on my skin and I think that could be one of the reasons! Those makeup bag sets are so great then what a deal.
