*****There will be no Seven on Sunday this weekend, taking a rare weekend off, it will resume next Sunday***** Hi to my dear readers and customers. We made it! Words cannot describe how happy I am that Christmas is here, as in totally giddy and that it will be gone tomorrow. It has been a nonstop work month and this little elf is exhausted, feels worked to the bone and ready to put my feet up. Somehow, someway it all got done, just by the skin of my teeth with many comical moments along the way. You either have to laugh or cry, right? Who was I kidding to think Christmas 2021 was going to be so much more normal. Not quite.Though we have a long road ahead of us, just turning the page to a new year makes me feel calmer already. We were to be on a plane Friday morning (Christmas eve) to spend Christmas with family, but between cancellations, Covid and life, it was not meant to be. So as these plans changed very last minute, I scrambled and took out my tablecloth, got busy setting a Christmas table, ran around to pick up things to make Christmas day dinner (battling parking lots and crowds where ever I went) but I was a woman a. mission and nothing would get in my way And, so it got done! No rest for the weary….. I just want to thank you all for being there to support and encourage me, for being the best readers and customers I could ever dream of having. 6 years ago when I started my online business, I never in a million years dreamed it could be what it is today. Not a day goes by that I do not remind myself of how grateful and fortunate I am to wake up every day and genuinely love what I do. That is a blessing not ever overlooked. I love what I do and am excited to roll my sleeves up and get to work every single day, and you are a huge part of that. I can say with confidence I think the best is yet to come, 2022 is going to be an incredibly exciting year filled with all kinds of new things, different directions, a fresh new website, and some surprises along the way. I cannot wait to share with you as they happen. I have a feeling Covid will soon become a distant word and that in itself will make it a phenomenal year! I wish everyone the merriest Christmas, hug those you love just a little tighter because as we have all learned this year, life is a precious gift and can be incredibly fragile. My heart goes out to all those missing a loved one this year, too many families feeling that pain, lots of families separated (including my own). I am not going to complain one iota because we have our health and we are HERE. I will miss being with my family but recognize that is a tiny price to pay to keep those we love safe. Just a few highlights to share of my last minute table minute together- _________________________________________________ Put these on Instagram and immediately got a lot of message about these tablecloths and asking if we would bring them back. Great news- just got 3 more bolts of this fabric so we will be able to take about 30 custom tablecloth orders. Will announce this in about week or so…stay tuned! Can you believe these incredible 10 day old birthday flowers were able o be used, I added some fresh greens and berries and a few other white flowers from one of the other arrangements Brought out my Herend and silver chargers Love our new Greek key large salt and peppers And ended with Christmas eve by the fire with a glass of wine, watching Legends of the fall (maybe the 40th time we have seen it). Think my husband thinks he is Anthony Hopkins with his three boys (let us not forget he always wanted to be a ranch owner/cowboy):) If you missed my Decking the Halls post where I shared my holiday decor click here __________________________________________ As of Sunday morning, we will start our post Christmas 50% off sale off all ornaments and gift wrap! Use code 2020 Click here for holiday paper Click here for ornaments (all colors are subdivided on left) It was a perfect ending to a very unpredictable and nutty day, and at that moment there was no where I would have rather been then in my home, by the fire watching a movie with my family. That’s what’s really important after all. So, though it was a very different day than what we had planned for, it all worked out just fine! Wishing everyone a beautiful day with those you love and the merriest Christmas! Until next time…..
