Hi and happy Sunday everyone. By the time you read this, I will be in Virginia to be with my family. Today is a significant day, as it’s the one year anniversary of my mom’s passing. A year later, it still feels incredibly surreal. I miss her every hour and there is not a day that goes by, that I don’t think of her multiple times. It is a void which is impossible to fill. She was always my “go to” person for literally everything.
It certainly leaves a huge hole in your heart. Anyone who has lost a mother knows what I mean. So today we will be together to honor the incredible person, mother, wife, and best friend that she was. I do my best every day to honor by her aspiring to be the kind of person she was and follow her lead (huge shoes to fill but I try).
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend. Hard to believe we are in November!! I also cannot believe that the holidays are creeping up on us and fast. Busy weekend here, dinner with friends, a Halloween party then leave for Virginia.
We will celebrate my beautiful mom with just our immediate family. I am so happy I have/had my blog to honor her many times throughout the years, an everlasting tribute to what a truly incredible mother, friend and wife she was. OK, onward to my post this weekend….

1 MY BEAUTIFUL MOM. Just a few of my favorite pictures of my incredible mother who is missed every hour. I know she is watching down on me and I have felt her presence here and there, I truly believe she is around me. Love you mom and cannot believe you have been gone for a year. You are missed more than words could ever convey. I am so grateful for the life you gave me, for the immeasurable lessons you taught me in life, but mostly for you to have exemplified how a quality person and true lady lives their life. A one and only, as anyone who know you, will attest!

4 SOME AMAZING PRESS!! It is always such a thrill to be featured in many of my favorite magazines and this month was a real bonanza of press!! House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Southern Lady, and Better Homes and Gardens. Doesn’t get better than that!!
And in Flower magazine, love this feature with our fabulous Blue tulips as part of our collaboration with Carolyn Roehm, this is an especially FANTASTIC ISSUE!
5 HIGHLIGHTED HAIR THAT NEEDS A LITTLE LIFT? I have to say I really love this product, its a brush on temporary dash of color which is fantastic if you are between highlights and need a little “brightening”. I get my hair highlighted 2 or 3 times a year so this is a godsend to use in the meanwhile. Easy to use and comes in several colors. Click here to see more
6 COMING SOON If you read my blog, you know I love anything with lattice. Always been a huge fan so look for any opportunity to incorporate it into our designs.Very excited over this lattice mirror we will be introducing in 2 colors to start! Doesn’t look like much now as this is the mirror with just a base coat, we will offer it in white and one other color.
In addition to the white, would love your take as to the second color we should offer?
And these magnificent lattice framed prints..hope to have in time for Christmas! Not high res pictures but you certainly get the idea!

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY So something potentially exciting is in the works. Over the years, many have asked us about the possibility of renting our products. In recent months, I have been in talks with two people who want to start up a rental business featuring many/most of our products.
We are quite excited at the prospect and think this could offer a very unique experience since most of our products are ours exclusively and certainly would make for some beautiful events, parties, tables, etc….We have and are continuing to add so many pieces of dinnerware, chargers, tabletop items, wicker and of course all of our porcelain!
As this starts to come together, I will be sure to share with you the progress. Would love your opinion on this subject.
